  Be Free! Stinky goes to Asia

  Happy new year to all! We apologise for not wishing you one earlier. We felt that our post from last week was important, so we did not want to cloud it with any other messages. But that deed has been done and now we can focus on the brighter side of things.

  We went through some of the photos we had of Stinky in his travels and noticed a lovely picture of Stinky next to a picture of a little girl. But it wasn’t until recently that we noticed that there was text in the picture that read ‘Be Free’. So we thought whether there was any better advice you could give, other than to free yourself? Being free could apply to so many things and it is not until we learn to truly be free, that we are able to find the haven of happiness. So what are we so caught up in that we need to be reminded of something so simple? Financial stress, bad habits that are hard to shake, free from being forced to work, emotions and a world where love no longer rules supreme? I’m sure the list could go on forever.

  Having said all this, we think that true freedom is when your heart and mind act as one. So set yourself a goal, to put your hearts wishes into action. Whether it is mustering up the courage to the tell girl of the dreams that you love her, to sponsoring a child – go ahead and do it.

  Since we are on the topic of following your heart, Stinky is finally going to Asia. First stop Singapore. It is quite amazing that Stinky has probably travelled to more places than we have! We look forward to sharing more of his adventures in Asia when he returns. But we are more than excited to see what he will get up to.   Most people don’t believe in love. They think it is too far out of reach. And it is these people that become the greatest advocates for love, when they end up experiencing what they thought only existed in fairy tales.

  The thing is… love is never inexistent. It is always there – no matter how small it may be. It’s not one of those things that gradually grow on you. Ok for some it does – snow ball effect right? Sometimes love comes spontaneously. Hits you when you least expect it. And it is not until you get hit right in the middle of your face with love that you realise how truly great a feeling it is. It is like a warm summer’s day. It is like hot chocolate on a cold night. It is like teddy bears, flowers, slippery slides and igloos.

  There comes a time in everyone’s life where you find perfect company to spend a lifetime with. And we’re not talking about a teddy bear or a musical instrument – we’re talking about love (drag the word out and say it very slow).

  We won’t say too much now, but we really look forward to sharing our next post with you. There are two reasons why we look forward to it. Next week marks our fourth week of being live. Now this is a big deal to us. We have seen many come and visit our site and we are more than grateful to have shared a little something with you all. The next reason it is special comes down to this. When we proofread the post, I think a few of us got a little emotional. Not emotional because it was bad, but emotional because it is something that has touched our lives at one stage or another. So make sure you visit the site next Saturday so that we can share something special with you!

  A quick update from behind the scenes. The team at stinkythepig have been working tirelessly to secure more products to add to Stinky’s online store. To say we are all excited would be a major understatement. The things we have coming are spectacular and we will make sure to let you know what we have in store very, very soon.
